# 760.1700 Applicability.This subpart specifies the terms and conditions for the Milk Loss Program. The Milk Loss Program will provide payments to eligible dairy operations for milk that was dumped or removed without compensation from the commercial milk market due to the results of droughts, wildfires, hurricanes, floods, derechos, tornadoes, excessive moisture, excessive heat, winter storms, freeze (including polar vortex), and smoke exposure that occurred in the 2023 and 2024 calendar year.[88 FR 62288, Sept. 11, 2023, as amended at 90 FR 51974, Nov. 18, 2025]
