# 922.161 Boundary.

The sanctuary consists of an area of approximately 2,872 square nautical miles (nmi
<sup>2</sup>) (3,803 sq. mi.) of coastal and ocean waters, and the submerged lands thereunder, surrounding the Florida Keys in Florida. Appendix I to this subpart sets forth the precise Sanctuary boundary.
