# 513.64 Acknowledgment of Freedom of Information Act requests.(a) All requests for records under the Freedom of Information Act received by the FOI/PA Administrator, Office of General Counsel, will be reviewed and may be forwarded to the appropriate Regional Office for proper handling. Requests for records located at a Bureau facility other than the Central Office or Regional Office may be referred to the appropriate staff at that facility for proper handling.(b) The requester shall be notified of the status of his or her request by the office with final responsibility for processing the request.
