# 60.10 Permissible exposure limit (PEL).

The mine operator shall ensure that no miner is exposed to an airborne concentration of respirable crystalline silica in excess of 50 µg/m
<sup>3</sup> for a full-shift exposure, calculated as an 8-hour TWA.
