# 101.600 Purpose.The purpose of this subpart is to set minimum cybersecurity requirements for U.S.-flagged vessels, facilities, and Outer Continental Shelf (OCS) facilities to safeguard and ensure the security and resilience of the Marine Transportation System (MTS).
