# 406.70 Applicability; description of the animal feed subcategory.The provisions of this subpart are applicable to discharges resulting from the manufacturing of animal feeds (formula feed concentrate) using primarily grain and grain by-products which may be supplemented by proteins, pharmaceuticals, vitamins or mineral additives.
