# 406.90 Applicability; description of the ready-to-eat cereal subcategory.The provisions of this subpart are applicable to discharges resulting from the processing of various grains and other materials (whole grain wheat, rice, corn grits, oat flour, sugar, and minor ingredients) to produce various breakfast cereals normally available for human consumption without cooking.
