# 424.70 Applicability; description of the electrolytic chromium subcategory.The provisions of this subpart are applicable to discharges resulting from the manufacture of chromium metal by the electrolytic process. They are not applicable to discharges resulting from the manufacture of chromium metal by aluminothermic or other methods.
