# 3420.0-3 Authority.(a) The regulations in this part are issued under the authority of the statutes cited in § 3400.0-3 of this title.(b) The regulations in this part implement: (1) Primarily section 2(a) of the Mineral Leasing Act of 1920, as amended by sections 2 and 3 of the Federal Coal Leasing Amendments Act of 1976 (30 U.S.C. 201(a)); and (2) the Small Business Act of 1953, as amended (15 U.S.C. 631 *et seq.*).
