#  Notice of Proposed Information Collection Requests

**AGENCY:**

Department of Education.

**ACTION:**

Correction notice.

**SUMMARY:**

On August 7, 2001, a 60-day notice inviting comment from the public was inadvertently published for the Federal Direct Loan Program and Federal Family Education Loan Program Teacher Loan Forgiveness Form in the *Federal Register* (Volume 66, Number 152) dated August 7, 2001. This notice amends the public comment period to 30 days. The Leader, Regulatory Information Management, Office of the Chief Information Officer, hereby issues a correction notice on the submission for OMB review as required by the Paperwork Reduction Act of 1995.

Interested persons are invited to submit comments on or before September 6, 2001.
