This is a Notice of the Presidential declaration of a major disaster for Public Assistance Only for the State of California (FEMA-1585-DR), dated 04/14/2005.
*Incident:* Severe Storms, Flooding, Landslides, and Mud and Debris Flows.
*Incident Period:* 02/16/2005 through 02/23/2005.
*Effective Date:* 04/14/2005.
*Physical Loan Application Deadline Date:* 06/13/2005.

Notice is hereby given that as a result of the President's major disaster declaration on 04/14/2005, applications for Private Non-Profit organizations that provide essential services of a governmental nature may file disaster loan applications at the address listed above or other locally announced locations.
The following areas have been determined to be adversely affected by the disaster:
*Primary Counties:* Kern, Los Angeles, Orange, Riverside, San Bernardino, San Diego, and Ventura.
