This is a Notice of the Presidential declaration of a major disaster for Public Assistance Only for the State of Kansas (FEMA—1600—DR) dated 8/23/2005.
*Incident:* Severe storms and flooding.
*Incident Period:* 6/30/2005 through 7/1/2005.
*Effective Date:* 8/23/2005.
*Physical Loan Application Deadline Date:* 10/24/2005.

The following areas have been determined to be adversely affected by the disaster:

Cherokee, Crawford, Neosho.
