In accordance with the Federal Advisory Committee Act (Pub. L. 92-463, as amended), the National Science Foundation announces the following meeting.

*Name:* EarthScope Science and Education Advisory Committee (#16638).

*Dates/Time:* 12:30 p.m.-5:30 p.m.—Thursday, October 27, 2005. 8:30 a.m.-3 p.m.—Friday October 28, 2005.

*Place:* EarthScope Facility Office, 1200 New York Avenue, NW., Suite 700, Washington, DC 20005.

*Type of Meeting:* Open.
