Announcement is made of the availability for licensing of the invention set forth in U.S. Provisional Patent Application Serial No. 61/043,242 entitled “Chest Tube Clamp,” filed April 8, 2008. The United States Government, as represented by the Secretary of the Army, has rights in this invention.

**SUPPLEMENTARY INFORMATION:**
The invention relates to a single, surgical instrument suitable for use in the placement of a thoracostomy tube (chest tube) into a patient for evacuation of intrapleural air or fluids. The mechanical functions of three (3) separate, surgical instruments have been combined into a single, surgical instrument. This single, surgical instrument is the subject of the present invention. The invention provides a medical professional with the option of employing one surgical instrument, which serves the function of three.
