**SUMMARY:**
This notice announces a meeting of the Fusion Energy Sciences Advisory Committee. The Federal Advisory Committee Act (Pub. L. 92-463, 86 Stat. 770) requires that public notice of these meetings be announced in the *Federal Register* .

Tuesday, January 13, 2009, 9 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. and Wednesday, January 14, 2009, 9 a.m. to noon.

*Purpose of the Meeting:* The purpose of the meeting will be to complete two charges: one on High Energy Density Laboratory Plasmas and one that asked FESAC to review the Fusion Energy Sciences Strategic Plan Overview which is scheduled to be sent to Congress by March 1, 2009.
