**SUMMARY:**

Announcement is made of the availability for licensing of the invention set forth in U.S. Patent Application Serial No. 13/911,137, entitled “Diabetes Monitoring Using Smart Device,” filed on June 6, 2013. The United States Government, as represented by the Secretary of the Army, has rights to this invention.

**SUPPLEMENTARY INFORMATION:**

The invention relates to a method for communicating diabetes information to a diabetes care provider including wirelessly transmitting diabetes readings from at least one diabetes device via a patient's smart device to a diabetes care provider's smart device through a secure server.
