**SUMMARY:**
This notice contains a summary of a petition seeking relief from specified requirements of Title 14 of the Code of Federal Regulations. The purpose of this notice is to improve the public's awareness of, and participation in, the FAA's exemption process. Neither publication of this notice nor the inclusion or omission of information in the summary is intended to affect the legal status of the petition or its final disposition.

**Petition for Exemption**
*Docket No.:* FAA-2003-14563.
*Petitioner:* Southwest Airlines, Co.
*Section(s) of 14 CFR Affected:* 93.123.
*Description of Relief Sought:* Petitioner is requesting a five year extension of existing FAA's exemption 8112, which would continue to allow Southwest Airlines to conduct three scheduled inside-perimeter operations, at Washington National Airport (DCA), as follows:
(1) In the 0800 hour to provide service between Washington, DC (DCA) and St. Louis (STL);
(2) In the 1100 hour to provide service between Columbus (CMH) and DCA; and
(3) In the 1600 hour to provide service between DCA and Indianapolis (IND).
