**SUMMARY:**
This document corrects errors in the final rules portion of a *Federal Register* document that adopted rules to implement a competitive bidding process for Phase II of the Connect America Fund that will harness market forces to expand broadband in targeted rural areas. The document was published in the *Federal Register* on July 7, 2016.

This is a summary of the FCC's Erratum, FCC 18-297, released on March 26, 2018. This summary contains technical amendments to a *Federal Register* summary, 81 FR 44414 (July 7, 2016).
