This is a Notice of the Presidential declaration of a major disaster for Public Assistance Only for the State of SOUTH DAKOTA (FEMA-4656-DR), dated 06/29/2022.

*Incident:* Severe Storm, Straight-line Winds, Tornadoes, and Flooding.

*Incident Period:* 05/12/2022.

**DATES:**

Issued on 06/29/2022.

*Physical Loan Application Deadline Date:* 08/29/2022.

*Economic Injury (EIDL) Loan Application Deadline Date:* 03/29/2023.

Notice is hereby given that as a result of the President's major disaster declaration on 06/29/2022, Private Non-Profit organizations that provide essential services of a governmental nature may file disaster loan applications at the address listed above or other locally announced locations.

The following areas have been determined to be adversely affected by the disaster:

*Primary Counties:* Aurora, Beadle, Bon Homme, Brookings, Clay, Codington, Day, Deuel, Grant, Hamlin, Hanson, Hutchinson, Kingsbury, Lake, Mccook, Miner, Minnehaha, Moody, Roberts, Turner, Flandreau Santee Sioux Tribe of South Dakota and the Sisseton-Wahpeton Oyate of the Lake Traverse Reservation.
