**DATES:**
Thursday, April 16, 2026, 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. CT and Friday, April 17, 2026, 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. CT. The public registration deadline for the event is on or before April 10, 2026. Written comments should be received no later than 24 hours prior to the start of the meeting.

**SUPPLEMENTARY INFORMATION:**
*Purpose:* In accordance with the Government in the Sunshine Act (Sunshine Act), Public Law 94-409, as amended (5 U.S.C. 552b), the U.S. Election Assistance Commission (EAC) will hold its annual meeting of the EAC Standards Board to conduct regular business, discuss EAC updates and upcoming programs, and discuss other relevant election topics.
*Agenda:* The EAC's Standards Board will hold its 2026 Annual Meeting to conduct regular business, and discuss EAC updates and upcoming programs.
*Registration is required to attend. Please register by April 10, 2026, on the event page at eac.gov/events/2026/04/16/2026-eac-standards-board-annual-meeting.*
Public comments on the meeting must be submitted in writing on *regulations.gov* (docket ID: EAC-2026-0101). Comments must be received no later than 24 hours prior to the start of the meeting.
*Background:* The Help America Vote Act (HAVA) designates a 110-member Standards Board to assist EAC in carrying out its mandates under the law. The board consists of 55 state election officials selected by their respective chief state election official, and 55 local election officials selected through a process supervised by the chief state election official.
