# § 1842. Conversion of existing pay rates

section 1841 of this title

The Architect of the Capitol shall convert, as of the effective date of this section, to a single per annum gross rate, the rate of pay of each employee described in subparagraph (1) or subparagraph (2) of , whose pay immediately prior to such effective date was fixed at a basic rate with respect to which additional pay was payable by law.
