# § 2008g. Payment of interest as condition of loan servicing for borrowers

section 1981d(e) of this title

The Secretary may not reschedule or reamortize a loan for a borrower under this chapter who has not requested consideration under  unless the borrower pays a portion, as determined by the Secretary, of the interest due on the loan.
