# § 2211. Powers and duties of Deputy Secretary of Agriculture

section 3345 of title 5

The Deputy Secretary of Agriculture is authorized to exercise the functions and perform the duties of the first assistant of the Secretary of Agriculture within the meaning of  and shall perform such other duties as may be required by law or prescribed by the Secretary of Agriculture.
