# § 2014. Authorization of appropriations

There are authorized to be appropriated—

**(1)** for fiscal year 2007—

**(A)** $500,000 to establish the NMIC and Council; and

**(B)** such sums as are necessary for the operation of the NMIC and Council; and

**(2)** for each of fiscal years 2008 and 2009, such sums as are necessary for the operation of the NMIC and Council.
