# § 3408. Non-proliferation of nuclear weapons
22 U.S.C. 3201
In accordance with the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Act of 1978 [ et seq.], the Congress strongly encourages all countries in the Middle East which are not parties to the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons to become parties to that Treaty.
