# § 12313. Federal agency consultations

**(a)** **In general** The Commissioner shall consult and cooperate with the heads of all appropriate Federal agencies or departments administering programs or services that are substantially related to the purposes of this chapter.

**(b)** **Interagency agreements** To the extent practicable, the Commissioner shall facilitate cooperation through the entering into of interagency agreements.
