# § 12376. Definitions

For purposes of this subchapter—

**(1)** the term “Conference” means the 1993 White House Conference on Children, Youth, and Families; and

**1** the terms “child”, “youth”, and “young individual” means [^1] an individual who is less than 21 years of age.
