# § 7232. Senior positions

section 5316 of title 5

In addition to those positions created by subchapter II of this chapter, there shall be within the Department fourteen additional officers in positions authorized by  who shall be appointed by the Secretary and who shall perform such functions as the Secretary shall prescribe from time to time.
